Blended whisky is a type of whisky that is blended from different types of whisky, usually malt whisky and grain whisky. Blended whisky has a diverse and rich flavor, depending on the ratio and origin of the whiskies used. Blended whisky has many different types, but the most popular one is blended Scotch whisky, which is made in Scotland from Scotch whiskies. Blended Scotch whisky must be aged for at least 3 years and has an alcohol content of usually 40%. Some famous brands of blended Scotch whisky are Johnnie Walker, Chivas Regal, Dewar’s, Ballantine’s and Grant’s.
